Life is Good, Yeah Right!
Mom was really pissed off one morning and I had no clue what was wrong except that I was the reason. She was shouting and shouting and told that I will be responsible for the destruction of our family!
"Achanonnu ingu vannotte... Ninakku kaanichu tharaam. Avanum avante downloading-um."
What the...? Why else would we be having 24x7 broadband!
"Mudikkaanaayittu... Poyi nokkeda. Achante table-il vechittundu. Achane ippo ariyikkaathathu adhehathinu palpitation ullonda..." - She started weeping silently.
I had no idea what's wrong. BSNL 24x7 Broadband for 900 Rs. That aint too high. I went to ma dad's table. There was the phone bill and the total comes to around 48000 Rs!!! WHAT THE EF?!
Panic panic...
Then dad came, he told he really paid 900, again panic, found the receipt, relief, water, to the bank.
They said sorry and accepted that they goofed up. But still wanted us to pay the money! Dad told there's no way he's gonna pay that sum. Then they told to pay atleast half of it.
This is what happened. Someone there took the money, gave us the receipt, forgot to update the status of our account, I download some 100-200 GB stuff (NOT PORN! >:( ), and now we have to pay! Not fair at all.
They still havent told a solid yes or no. Anyway I told dad not to pay a single paise more than what we should. I guess if things get worse I'll go and give a complaint to the Consumer Forum.
Any advice?
