I was waiting for something funny to happen so that I can jumpstart ma blog. Well, something funny happened!

Ash Meister got his first marriage proposal!!!

Ya ya.. Laugh on. U should have been in my place.
It went like this. My kochachan came and asked ma dad how old am I.
I am past 20 just shy of 21 by 2 months. Then ma uncle started his speech about this General Manager of his bank and about all the green that he has. They even got 4 houses in the centre of the Trivandrum city! The girl is his only child (good find eh?).

I was just looking at ma dad. I was expressionless and I expected everyone present there to burst out laughing. But I least expected what was to follow. Ma mom told him that she didnt like her appearance (most probably the gal must be one of the hot kind, wearing tee n jeans...U got ma point). Ma mom was serious! And then ma ammoomma gave her wise saw, "Dont mind her appearance. I mean since her dad got this much wealth... She's beautiful enough for me!"

I was like What the... I told "Hayyada, dont even think about getting me married. I'm gonna be a chronic bachelor." Ammoomma started advising me and I told her not to force me. After that everyone left me alone.

Then a lil later, I was lying in the bed, thinking about that unknown unlucky gal hehe... Then suddenly it occurred to me that during all this discussion and planning, noone was interested in knowing her name!!! Discussed about the no of houses and cars and the monthly salary and what not of her dad. But her name? Nobody cares.
There U have it. Arranged marriage sucks. Kinda like a business. Money is all that matters. Like, if a buffalo got a very wealthy owner (like Rajamanikam!), you have a good chance of ending up being its life partner! Hehe, provided you are that much unlucky (err... or lucky, if you're into beastiality :P )

I'm stopping for now. Got AAPP n ANN to study.
